River Tara, also called the tear of Europe, is most famous for its grand canyon which is the deepest in Europe and the second in the world. Rafting is one of the most popular ways to actively spend your vacation. Rafting is, to put it simply, sailing down the fast mountain rivers on an inflatable boats different sizes and shapes. Rafting on the river Tara is by no doubt the most attractive rafting in Europe, and because of the different levels of river elevation during a year, it can be customized to all age groups.

Rafting Tara 12 kilometers
One day of rafting in the heart of the national park Durmitor, sailing on boats for 12 kilometers, duration of about 2 hours on the river, duration of the whole program is about 3 hours. It consists of the tour to Ljutica, the left affluent of Tara that is by two accounts in the Guinness Book of Records, as the strongest European source of 1000 liters of water in second and the shortest European river, only 170 meters long. It runs under the big bridge, the biggest road bridge of reinforced concrete in Europe. You will also enjoy in the swimming in green whirlpools (so-called `Rajski vrtovi`).
Rafting Tara 30 kilometers
One day of rafting 30 kilometers long from Second camp to the Radovan port with safari ride from Radovan port to Žabljak. It consists of the tour to Ljutica, the left affluent of Tara that is by two accounts in Guinness Book of Records, as the strongest European source of 1000 liters in second and the shortest European river, only 170 meters long. It runs under the big bridge, the biggest road bridge of reinforced concrete in Europe. You will also enjoy swimming in green whirlpools (so-called `Rajski vrtovi`). As a part of the tour it is also scheduled a tour of monastery of Saint Archangel Michael from the 13th century. You will definitely get your dose of adrenaline while you raft through the deepest part of canyon Tara – 1380 meters deep.
