Kremna

Kremna is a small air spa village in Zlatibor district with a beneficial altitude of 800 meters and a climate where sea and continental winds meet and clash. This small village is situated in a beautiful nature, rich in green meadows, surrounded by mountain peaks covered in coniferous forests. Kremna is an ideal place for all the lovers of unbelievable nature and clean and fresh air. One of the biggest attractions of Kremna is the Shargan Eight, which is a real masterpiece among narrow gouge railroads. Kremna is well known for the famous “Kremna Prophecies” of Serbian villagers Mitar and Miloš Tarabić. They allegedly foresaw some important events from 19^th and 20^th century, and their prophecies were written by archpriest Zaharije Zaharić believing that their voice comes from God. The notebook is still kept as a cultural heritage and it is in possession of Zaharije`s grandson. In the village Kremna you can visit a so-called Home of the Prophets, actually a house of Miloš and Mitar Tarabić, and there you can see an exhibition of different souvenirs, pictures, news articles and you can hear a lot of stories about brothers Tarabić and their famous prophecies.
